Founded in 1976, Xtraroom Conversions is one of the longest established loft conversion companies in the country.  The founder of the company John Hambleton is still a director today, with his son Craig.  A number of other family members also work for the company ensuring a very personal and caring service throughout the process of your loft conversion.

The management team at Xtraroom have genuine hands on experience of converting lofts and thus can advise and assist in any aspect of all types of conversion ensuring both professional advice and the highest quality project management at all times. 

We have a number of dedicated teams to carry out the conversions and we ensure that each team is only carrying out one conversion at any one time ensuring each job is completed in as short a time as possible, keeping disruption to a minimum.

We are a member of the Federation of Master Builders and Guild of Master Craftsmen and we also ensure all work is carried out to meet current building regulations.

We do not require interim stage payments should you favour us with your order. We believe, as you may be aware from media coverage and professional organisations, that building work should never be undertaken on a stage payment basis. The payment terms we offer ensure that until you are satisfied with the work undertaken, after a small initial deposit the remaining balance would remain with yourself. This therefore ensures the quality of work and professionalism at all times.

Our office is fully staffed and open during business hours Monday to Friday meaning both prospective and existing customers can get any queries answered as well as expert advice at any point.
